The Doctoral Program in Gender Studies: Culture, Society and Policy promoted by the Inter-University Women and Gender Studies Institute (Institut Interuniversitari d'Estudis de Dones i Gènere – iiEDG) comprises research groups and researchers from five Catalan universities (UAB, UB, UdG, UVIC-UCC and URV) and aims to develop scientific research excellence in studies on women, gender and feminism through transversal and interdisciplinary approaches.

The doctorate focuses on eight research lines supported by researchers belonging to groups accredited by Spanish and Catalan evaluation and funding agencies and also by individual researchers who are leading competitive research projects.

 A total of 10 vacancies are available every academic year.
