CALL FOR FIFTEEN ENROLMENT GRANTS FOR STUDENTS OF THE INTER-UNIVERSITY DOCTORATE PROGRAM IN GENDER STUDIES: CULTURES, SOCIETIES AND POLICIES

The dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes of the University of Barcelona (UB) and dated 21st February 2024, has approved the rules regarding the enrolment grants for students of the Inter-university Doctorate Program in Gender Studies: Cultures, Societies and Policies.

The funding for these grants comes from the call: SUBVENCIONES DESTINADAS A LA REALIZACIÓN DE POSTGRADOS DE ESTUDIOS FEMINISTAS Y DE GÉNERO Y ACTIVIDADES DEL ÁMBITO UNIVERSITARIO RELACIONADAS CON LA IGUALDAD PARA EL AÑO 2023 del Instituto de las Mujeres, Ministerio de Igualdad (grant code: 07/2POS/23).

In order to apply for the grants that are the subject of this call, one must be enrolled in the Inter-university Doctorate Programme in Gender Studies: Cultures, Societies and Policies in the 2023 - 2024 course.

The deadline for submitting applications will be from 26th February 2024 to 12th March 2024 both included.

 

Criteria for concession

For the awarding of the grants, the following will be taken into account:

a) Level of income and employment (the maximum score will be for the lowest incomes and/or unemployment situation). The per capita income level of the countries will be taken into account. (60%)

b) Having attended the training activities established by the Program (at least 80% and having duly justified those that have not been able to follow) during the previous school year of this call. For first-year PHD students, is necessary to have assisted during the present school year to the formative activities established by the Programe (at least 80% and having duly justified those that have not been able to follow). (20%)

c) Report of the persons who direct and tutor the thesis supporting the application of the candidate and the use of the grant. (20%)

 

Documentation to present

  • Photocopy of the DNI/NIE/passport.
  • Enrolment accrediting document (of one of five universities participating in the inter-university program) for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.
  • Document accrediting having passed the follow-up committee of the previous year or favourable evaluation of the research plan. For First-year PhD students is not necessary to submit this document.
  • Document accrediting having attended the training activities established by the Program during the previous school year of the current call (at least 80% and having duly justified those that could not be attended). For First-year PhD students is necessary to accredit the formative activities done until the publication of this call.
  • Report of the people who direct and tutor the thesis supporting the application of the candidate and the use of the grant.
  • Document accrediting income level and work situation.

 

The deadline has been extended until 19th April 2023.
